Job.com Review

Overall, Job.com is a functional service for job postings and resume browsing, but lacks in the additional features department that other sites offer.

Cost: Basic Package - $199 a month
Professional Package - $179 a month
Corporate Package - $149 a month
Enterprise Package - $99 a month

Pros:
The package options offer much needed variety; employers can now choose what kind of services they need without having to pay the flat price as everyone else. The fees are also reasonable compared to other job posting sites, with the cheapest being $99 a month. The site also sports easy-to-use and functional drop down menus that make navigation a little easier. Job.com receives about 4 million hits each month, which is an adequate number of visitors, so you can expect your posting to be accessible to a large audience. For employers, Job.com also allows you to filter resumes—a much needed feature that some major job posting sites lack.

Cons:
One of the major issues with Job.com is the site could use a few more features like candidate management services or resume database searches. With so many resumes listed, employer could really use a way to organize and search for ones that are pertinent to their postings. The site has also become victim to “junk” postings, which can decrease the chances of your posting getting noticed by a job seeker.
Another problem that needs to be addressed is Job.com’s customer service options. They do not provide any FAQs, a phone number, or any source of online help. The only way to contact them is by email. However, they often reply with automated messages instead of real responses.

Extras:
Job.com offers a large variety of different articles, quizzes, job fair information, and resume help.
